Musical Chair

By reading the title of the article, you must be thinking that what a childish title it is!!!

Yes, you are right, but this article is related to childhood only.

So what is Musical Chair???
According to Wikipedia, Musical chairs is a game of elimination involving players, chairs, and music, with one fewer chair than players. When the music stops whichever player fails to sit on a chair is eliminated, with a chair then being removed and the process repeated until only one player remains.

Let me make a guess that you might have played Musical Chair during your childhood.
Am I right or am I right???
(If you haven’t played then allow me to say that you had a very boring childhood…Just kidding, don’t take it seriously!!!)

I have played it many times but this time I was just an audience.

It was the birthday party of my 3 years old niece. In that party many games were arranged for kids and one of those was Musical Chair.

So the Musical Chair game begins, one by one kids were getting eliminated and all of them went to their parents with sad faces. Everything was going as per rules of game only until my niece got eliminated.

Even though she was eliminated, she kept running around the chair on the beat of music. After a few minutes I observed that she had found one chair in the corner of the play area and whenever the music stopped, she would go and sit on that empty chair in the corner of the play area. She was enjoying it even though she was eliminated from the game.

And I was like, ahhhhhhhhh what a spirit she has. Unknowingly she was teaching all of us some very important lessons of life.

Lesson-1:
We all have one chair available for us somewhere in some corner of the world. So stop dragging others down to make them lose and enjoy your own chair which you have earned with your own hard work and destiny. Generally, you would not attribute something you have earned to destiny.

Lesson-2:
Elimination or failure doesn’t mean the end of everything. Just enjoy your life on the beat of the music called life.
